Doctor Terri Porrett FRCN, PhD, MSc, RN

Doctor Terri Porrett FRCN, PhD, MSc, RN was one of the UK’s first colorectal nurse consultants and has led the development of specialist colorectal and stoma care nursing services throughout her career. She trained at the Princess Alexandra School of Nursing & Midwifery, Royal London Hospital, becoming a ward sister at St Marks Hospital. In 1991, she joined Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Stoma Care, later becoming Nurse Consultant and Clinical Director of the North-East London Bowel Cancer Screening Centre. Terri joined Coloplast in 2011 and leads on a collaborative GIRFT stoma care pathway
